Val is the main contact for event rentals at the Markham Fairgrounds. She is a master negotiator and ensures that tenants are well taken care of. From helping to choose the right space for your event to setting you up with preferred/recommended service providers, Val ensures that bylaws are met and will help with permits and approvals for your event. She is our ‘go-to’ for just about anything at the grounds.

Bruce is General Manager, Secretary & Treasurer of the Markham and East York Agricultural Society. Bruce is a senior business leader with multi-decade experience as an executive level planner, operator, and strategist with experience in hospitality, gaming, entertainment, and retail. Bruce has led marketing, operating and transformation functions in both the private and public sector.
